Wherever adventure takes you, Kampa provides the perfect window to explore the world.

Two Ways to Build Shelter
Air Frames vs. Poles
There’s more than one way to give a tent its structure. Air frame tents are designed for ease and speed: inflate, secure, and you’re home. With no poles to thread through sleeves, the frame is effectively already in place, making set-up intuitive and stress-free, especially after a long drive or in changing weather. Traditional poled tents, on the other hand, offer a lighter and more accessible solution. While they take a little longer to pitch, poles reduce overall weight and cost, making them a practical, reliable choice for many campers. It’s a balance between instant convenience and classic efficiency – both built to do the same job, just in different ways.

For those who prefer Stargazing to screentime
They call it minimalism. We call it efficiency disguised as cool. Our smaller tents are not about getting away from everything. Just away from enough.

Our Fabric Story
Zero Fluorocarbons
Our tent fabrics are designed to protect people, gear, and the environment in equal measure. Across our range, we’ve moved away from fluorocarbons in favour of C0, water-based treatments, delivering dependable waterproof performance with no added risk. Durable polyester fabrics dry quickly with sun and wind, and achieve hydrostatic head ratings of up to 3000mm for confidence in wet conditions.
For a more premium expression, our silicone-coated ripstop polyester elevates protection and feel, offering exceptional water repellence with a refined, lightweight finish. As part of our ongoing innovation, next-generation C0 solutions continue to be explored here as well. Inside, carefully selected secondary fabrics – soft pongee polyester and breathable inner materials – enhance comfort and tactility, creating a calm, welcoming space once the weather closes in.
Strength in the Details
Aluminium (al-yoo-MIN-ee-um) vs. Fibreglass
When it comes to tent poles, material matters. Aluminium poles deliver strength without the weight. They’re stronger per length, can be segmented into smaller sections, and pack down more compactly – ideal for those who value performance and smaller pack sizes. This precision comes at a slightly higher cost, but rewards with durability and refinement.
Fibreglass poles remain a trusted staple in camping. They’re more affordable and, in the event of damage, often easier to replace thanks to widespread availability. Practical, familiar, and forgiving, fibreglass offers a straightforward solution that keeps camping accessible and easy to maintain. Different materials. Different priorities. It’s the same goal: dependable shelter, wherever you pitch.
